The client came to Achieve Homes looking to build a forever home. Having just retired, he sought a hassle-free experience and a home that he was confident would be his last property purchase.
The block he had purchased was unique, as it was rear-loaded with more than 3 meters slope concentrated at the centre of the block. This meant that a custom design was required in order to meet the client’s needs and address the challenges the block presented. By utilising the Achieve Homes process from the initial meeting with the architect, we identified the client’s unique living requirements and brought a concept design to life. Following some client feedback and additional tweaks, the concept floor plan evolved into a working masterpiece that successfully took advantage of the block’s north-facing aspect while overcoming the challenges. This was achieved by creating steps in the home, giving it a sense of flow and liveability that the client loved.
